Total Distribution Services was established by Herb Stevenson in 1980 as the very first tank truck brokerage in the USA.
Since then our network of trusted carriers has grown to the thousands. The products we’re able to handle has also grown to include pretty much anything bulk – be it food grade, chemical, hazardous, liquid or dry. Though bulk is our specialty we have branched out into other transportation needs. One that we now handle on a daily basis is overweight/overloaded railcars that are stuck somewhere in between shipper and receiver and need product offloaded. We can also handle van loads, flatbeds, drayage, international shipments and more.

A note about fuel surcharges: Each carrier uses their own formula to calculate the fuel surcharge percentage they will charge, based on the national average price of diesel. As we use different carriers, the fuel surcharge percentages will vary accordingly. We will always let you know what that percentage will be when you book a load with us.
